This Project, Initiated By Swan Hill Rural City Council (Council), Involves The Replacement Of The Ten Steps And The Reinstatement Of The Retaining Wall At Riverside Park In Swan Hill. The Retaining Wall, Located On The North And South Sides Of The Ten Steps, Will Prevent Further Erosion And Protect The Substructure Beneath. The New Steps, Reconstructed In Their Original Location While Maintaining The Same Design And Aesthetic, Will Preserve The Site’S Legacy. This Initiative Aims To Transform The Riverfront Precinct Into A Vibrant, Inclusive Destination, Offering An Enhanced, Attractive And Accessible Space For The Community And Visitors To Experience The Unique Charm Of The Murray River.
