Surveillance Cameras Are Also Present In The Various Buildings And Facilities Of The Zone. These Cameras Must Also Continue To Work Optimally. The Current Camera Network Consists (Among Other Things) Of The Following Parts: - 59 Locations With 80 Surveillance Cameras On The Territory Of The City Of Ostend; - 84 Surveillance Cameras In The Main Buildings Located In Lijndraailersstraat 5 In Ostend; - 20 Surveillance Cameras At Training Locations - 4 Workstations; - 7 Recorders; - 2 I/O Modules To Start/Stop Image And/Or Sound Recordings On Certain Cameras. - A Network That Consists Of Fiber Optic Cables, Power Cables And Footpath Cabinets With Active Equipment (Switches, Poe Devices, Power Supply) And Jet Connections; - 4 Important Nodes. - The Video Management System (Vms) That: O Manages The Surveillance Cameras And Captures The Video Streams; O Arranges The Storage Of These Images (City Cameras: 30 Days; Internal Cameras: 1 Year); O The Interface Offers To View These Images Live, To Record The Images, View And Analyze The Recorded Images ... Through This Assignment, The Ostend Police Zone Wishes To Perpetuate And Further Expand The Current Camera Network. The Emphasis Is On Expanding, Renewing And Maintaining The Existing Camera Network In The Ostend Police Zone.
