Expression of Interest are invited for Market Assessment of Dairy and Food Processing Sectors in Iraw The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is the largest global development institution that is focused exclusively on the private sector. IFCs client, a food products company operating across the Middle East, is exploring the potential expansion of its manufacturing operations to Central and Southern Iraq through the construction of a dairy products, ice cream, or tomato paste processing factory (the Project).The Project aims to establish local production of affordable food products for the Iraqi market while contributing to the countrys import substitution efforts. IFC is seeking to commission a detailed and targeted market assessment of the food processing sector in Iraq, notably dairy products, ice cream, and tomato paste, and with a focus on Central and Southern Iraq. This market assessment will inform an upcoming feasibility study and enable a thorough analysis of the Projects commercial viability, profitability, and business plan.
