Tenders are invited for Procurement for the Designing and Modification of Y Class Shunting Locomotives with Compressed Air Brake System - 02 Nos A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address of the Deputy General Manager (Procurement), Railway Procurement Sub Department, Olcott Mawatha, Colombo 10, Sri Lanka, from 28.11.2024 to 23.12.2024 up to 3.00 p.m. on payment of a non-refundable procurement fee of Rs. 27,500.00/- only. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security. Amount of Bid security shall be Rs. 1,500,000/- and shall be an unconditional guarantee issued by Bank operating in Sri Lanka and approved by the Central bank of Sri Lanka. Pre bid meeting shall be on 09.12.2024 at 10.00 a.m. at chief Mechanical Engineers Office, Rathmalana. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2.00 p.m. on 24.12.2024 and bids will opened immediately after closing of the bids. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to present at the opening of the bids at Room No. 01, 3rd Floor, Railway Procurement Sub Department, P.B. 1347, Olcott Mawatha, Colombo 10.
