Quotation are invited for Provision of Equipment Service Such as Air Conditioners, Fire Extinguishers, Smoke Detectors, and Fumigation Services at Various Iom Sites within the Kigoma Region of Tanzania. Provision of Premise and Equipment Service at IOM-Kigoma Field Offices and Dar es salaam, Tanzania. The Service Providers role will be as follows: 1. Air conditioner service/repairs (Periodic service of air conditioners, Including Supply & installation of AC components). Coverage in Kigoma region includes 4(four) IOM sites i.e IOM-Kasulu suboffice, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Main, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Annex 1, IOM-Makere compound (MHAC). Coverage in Dar es salaam includes IOM-Kasulu transit Centre (near airport_JNIA) and IOM-Country office (Plot 17 Ruhinde Rd, Kinondoni) 2. Fire extinguishers service/repairs (Periodic service of Fire extinguishers, Including Supply & installation of parts/components). This covers all 4(four) IOM sites in Kigoma region i.e IOM-Kasulu suboffice, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Main, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Annex 1, IOM-Makere compound (MHAC). Coverage in Kigoma region includes 4(four) IOM sites i.e IOM-Kasulu suboffice, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Main, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Annex 1, IOM-Makere compound (MHAC). Coverage in Dar es salaam includes IOM-Kasulu transit Centre (near airport_JNIA) and IOM-Country office (Plot 17 Ruhinde Rd, Kinondoni) 3. Smoke detectors service/repairs (Periodic service of Smoke detectors, Including Supply & installation of parts/components). This covers all 4(four) IOM sites in Kigoma region i.e IOM-Kasulu suboffice, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Main, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Annex 1, IOM-Makere compound (MHAC). 4. Fumigation service to sizeable premises/environment _ all 4(four) IOM sites in Kigoma region i.e IOM-Kasulu suboffice, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Main, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Annex 1, IOM-Makere compound (MHAC) Coverage in Kigoma region includes 4(four) IOM sites i.e IOM-Kasulu suboffice, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Main, IOM-Kasulu Transit Centre Annex 1, IOM-Makere compound (MHAC). Coverage in Dar es salaam includes IOM-Kasulu transit Centre(near airport_JNIA) and IOM-Country office (Plot 17 Ruhinde Rd, Kinondoni) G. Responsibility of IOM IOM will provide the Service Provider with: Access to premise to enable service provider executing the requested service IOM shall, on the fullment of the delivery terms and following receipt of satisfactory services, and unless otherwise provided in the Contract or Purchase Order, make payment by bank transfer to the Service Providers bank account within 30 days of receipt of the Service Providers detailed invoice for the services, as well as copies of any other documentation specied in the Contract. Please note the following conditions for release of payment: - Submission of detailed invoice - Satisfactory acceptance of services K. Qualification Overall Contract qualifications: Upon issuance of contract, The Service Provider must have a physical office or representative at IOM site. The Service Provider must have a minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in providing a similar service to a large group of clients. Having experience providing the same service to UN entity or reputable company/NGO, will be an added advantage. The Service Provider should have sufficient capacity to run the operation, especially a financial resource to cover a months operation while waiting for monthly pay day from IOM for submitted monthly invoices. Specific qualifications: Air conditioner service/repairs: - Competence Certificate of Key Technicians of air conditioner repair training - Company Business licenses - Fire extinguisher service/repairs: - Technician Certificate of competence from FIRE RESCUE FORCE, TANZANIA - Technician/company introduction letter from FIRE RESCUE FORCE, TANZANIA - TBS Certificate - Any other relevant certification for the field in question will be added advantage Fire detection device (Smoke detector) service/repairs: - Technician certificate to verify he/she has expertise and/or training to execute service - Any other relevant certification for the field in question will be added advantage Fumigation service: - Companys Certified certificate from TPRI (Tropical Pesticides Research Institute, Tanzania) - Technician certificate from TPRI (Tropical Pesticides Research Institute, Tanzania) - Business license L. Recommendation to representation of offer: Proposal price should be quoted in TZS. The proposal should have a minimum of 90 days validity and entire contract period. Proposal to indicate components of all the offers e.g service price, labour charge, material charge, etc Proposal to indicate components of all cost i.e item price and separate line for VAT charges (if you are VAT registered vendor). We expect the vendor to issue us EFD receipts regardless of whether they are registered VAT or not. Bidder proposal must include both locations _ Dar es salaam and Kigoma field offices per service offered/quoted. For the proposal that covers only one location per service offered/quoted will not be considered for evaluation.
