Domestic Animal Nurseries - Care And Veterinary Services For Homeless Animals And Maintaining The Activities Of The Shelter In Katowice At Ul. Milowicka 1 B.. 1. Under The Order, The Contractor Is Obliged To: A) Provide Proper Care And Protection For Animals Staying In The Shelter, In Particular Provide Food In Accordance With The Standards Specified By A Veterinarian, B) Treat Sick Animals In Accordance With The Veterinarians Recommendations, C) Purchase Medicines In Accordance With The Doctors Recommendations Veterinary Medicine, D) Accepting Reports (Including Telephone Calls) About Animals Abandoned Or Posing A Threat To People, Sick Animals And Those That Have Suffered Street Accidents (Including Animal Carcasses) And Taking Immediate Action To Bring Them To The Shelter, E) Carrying Out Patrols In The City At Least Once A Day In Order To Pick Up Stray Animals In A Designated And Adapted Car, With A Two-Person Staff Trained In Animal Handling, F) Maintaining All Facilities And The Remaining Infrastructure Of The Shelter In Good Technical Condition And Carries Out Necessary Current And Maintenance Repairs And Troubleshooting, G) Making Efforts To Find Appropriate Caregivers For Homeless Dogs And Cats Staying In The Shelter, Including Organizing At Least Once A Year Of Promotional Campaigns Aimed At Increasing Public Interest In Animals In Shelters And Encouraging Adoption, In Any Form That Is Safe For The Health Of Shelter Employees And People Participating In The Campaigns, Meeting The Requirements Of Currently Applicable Regulations Regarding The Epidemic Threat In The Country, And Each Of These The Campaign Should Be Published On The Internet, H) Feeding Free-Living Cats By Providing And Distributing Food In An Amount Of At Least 3,766 Kg, I) Maintaining A Website And Handing It Over To The City Of Katowice After The End Of The Campaign Contract Containing Information About Animals Intended For Adoption, Along With Photos. The Website Should Allow You To Send A Link To A Specific Photo Along With A Description. It Is Recommended To Include The Animals Disease History And Characteristics In The Description Of The Photo. Pages Describing Animals For Adoption Should Also Include A Newly Added Tab. J) Keeping Records (In Accordance With Annex 1 To The Agreement): I. Animals Admitted To The Shelter As Strays, Ii. Euthanized Animals, Iii. Dead Animals, Iv. Animals Sold, V. Animals Under Observation For Rabies, Vi. Accepted For Storage And Returned To The Owner, Vii. Reports Of Trips To Pick Up Stray Animals, Viii. Dead Animals Brought Back From Intervention, Ix. Sterilization Of Animals, X. Castration Of Animals, Xi. Completed Quarantine And Veterinary Treatments, K) Preparing And Submitting To The Department Of Environmental Management Of The Katowice City Hall A Monthly Report Containing Data From Records And Registers, Amounts Obtained From The Sale And Storage Of Animals And Costs By Type, L) Preparing And Submitting To The Department Of Environmental Management Municipal Office
