The Helmi Habitat Program Restores Degraded Or Endangered Habitats In Five Different Themes. One Of The Themes Is Small Bodies Of Water, Which Includes Stream Habitats That Are Endangered Due To Land Use And Environmental Change, Especially In Southern Finland. This Work Is Carried Out As Part Of The Small Water Theme Of The Helmi Habitat Program Implemented By Varsinais-Finland Ely Center. The Purpose Of The Restoration Is To Support The Ecological Diversity Of Juurakkuluoma And Especially The Living Conditions Of Trout. The Site Is Located In Lauhala, Kankaanpää, At Properties 99-407-3-90 And 99-407-2-118. The Stream As A Whole Is A Natura Area (Fi0200130 Karvianjoki Rapids). The Object Of The Procurement Is The Construction Of Trout Spawning Gravel Pits And The Wooden Structures That Clean The Bed Bottom And Gravel Pits (See More Detailed Job Descriptions In The Service Description And Restoration Plan). The Planned Implementation Date Of The Work Is June-September 2025. The Exact Implementation Date Will Be Agreed Separately With The Contractor Selected For The Work.
