Air-Rescue Services – Selection Process For The Operation Of An Intensive Care Transport Helicopter (Ith) “Christoph Regensburg”. The Zrf Intends To Re-Award The Implementation Of Air Rescue At The Regensburg Location For The Period From September 1St, 2026 To August 31St, 2031 (5 Years). The Assignment Is Automatically Extended Once For A Further Five Years Until August 31, 2036 At The Latest If Zrf Does Not Terminate The Contract In Writing By December 31, 2030 At The Latest. Air Rescue Must Be Carried Out As Part Of Emergency Care. The Service To Be Awarded Includes • The Operation Of The Ith Christoph Regensburg At The Location Of The University Hospital Regensburg Including The Technical And Structural Infrastructure As Well As The Necessary Medical-Technical Equipment 24 Hours A Day, 365 Days A Year, • The Provision Of The Necessary And Suitable Helicopter Pilots, • The Provision Of Emergency Doctors Necessary And Suitable For The Operation Of The Ith, • The Provision Of Those Necessary And Suitable For The Operation Of The Ith Hems-Tc, • The Implementation Of Primary And Secondary Operations In The So-Called “Dual-Use Model” In Accordance With The Relevant Legal And Administrative Regulations. In Addition, The Service Provider Must Provide A Suitable Vehicle, Which Must Be Occupied By The Hems-Tc As A Driver And The Emergency Doctor During The Period In Which The Ith Is Not Ready For Use. This Vehicle Is Then Dispatched By The Ils Regensburg From The Air Rescue Station Should An Additional Emergency Doctor Be Required. The Vehicle Must Be Equipped With Digital Radio, A Special Signaling System And Sufficient Mounting Options For Emergency Medical Equipment In Accordance With The Manufacturers Specifications.
