Sewage Treatment Services – Maintenance And Emptying Of Hydrocarbon Separators At Liège Airport. Maintenance Of The Oil Separators On The Liege Airport Site Was Until Now Carried Out Internally By Airport Staff. However, With The Increase In The Number Of Installations And The Increase In The Volume Of Activities, Internal Teams Can No Longer Guarantee Regular Management Of This Maintenance. This Situation Creates An Increased Risk Of Non-Compliance With Legal And Environmental Obligations In Force In Belgium, Particularly In Terms Of Wastewater And Hydrocarbon Management. Currently, The Liege Airport Site Includes 25 Hydrocarbon Separators, Divided Into Landside And Airside Zones, The Management Of Which Is The Responsibility Of Liege Airport. The Objectives Of This Public Contract Are As Follows: • Ensure That Installations Are Maintained In Perfect Working Order In Order To Prevent Any Risk Of Pollution; • Guarantee Rigorous And Detailed Monitoring Of Maintenance Operations Carried Out; • Ensure Strict Compliance With Applicable Legal Obligations, In Particular Those Set Out In The Environmental Code And In Belgian Regulations Relating To Wastewater And Hydrocarbon Management. The Contract Will Cover The Following Services: • The Annual Cleaning And Emptying Of All Oil Separators; • Annual Skimming Of The Separators, To Be Carried Out Six Months After Cleaning And Emptying; • Administrative And Legal Monitoring Of Interventions, Including The Provision Of Detailed Reports To Guarantee Traceability And Compliance With Environmental Obligations. If Necessary, Additional Skimming Services May Be Requested. In Addition, Curative Maintenance Work May Be Requested From The Successful Bidder, Subject To Acceptance Of A Quote For An Amount Not Exceeding 10% Of The Annual Amount Awarded.
