Prior Information Notice For Legal Advisory And Information Services – Call For Legal Experts Serving African Technology Startups. Digital Africa Launched In 2024 Its “Platform” Offer To Support Startups In Its Portfolio, Which Are Multi-Sector African Tech Startups In Early Stage (Pre-Seed And Seed). One Of The Support Pillars Includes Access To A Pool Of Professional Experts. We Note That Questions Relating To Compliance And The Various Regulatory And Legal Aspects Are Not Always At The Heart Of The Concerns Of Founding Teams During The First Stages Of The Creation Of A Start-Up Due To Lack Of Resources And Time. However, Certain Errors Can Be Avoided To Allow The Startup To Develop Peacefully And Ultimately Be Able To Convince Investors. Also, As Part Of The Legal Support For African Tech Startups In Early Stage, It Is Essential To Provide Startups With Support To Establish A Solid Foundation, Protect Their Assets And Navigate A Complex Regulatory Environment, Allowing Them To Focus On Their Growth And Development. Digital Africa Is Therefore Launching A Call For Expertise Structures And/Or Freelancers In Different Identified Areas, Including Legal Aspects, In Order To Support The Growth Of Startups. Digital Africa Invests And Supports Startups In 18 Priority Countries: Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Benin, Uganda, Zambia, Togo, Cameroon, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Angola, Mozambique, Sudan, Drc. Thus, The Selected Experts Will Be French-Speaking, English-Speaking And/Or Portuguese-Speaking. Planned Mission Each Selected Expert Will Be Contacted By Digital Africa According To The Needs Of The Startups In Its Portfolio, Which Implies A Variable Volume Of Support. 1- Kick-Off Diagnosis And Diagnosis Of The Financial And Accounting Support Needs Of The Startup Covering The Themes Presented Above. Establishment Of Expertise Objectives With The Startup, An Action Plan Achievable Over A Specific Period And Kpis To Follow. The Diagnosis Must Not Exceed One Month After The Connection Between The Startup And The Expert 2- Support Support For Each Startup On The Basis Of The Action Plan And A Number Of Hours Validated By Digital Africa. If Necessary, Support The Implementation And Structuring Of An Accounting Or Other Tool. Check-Out And Identification Of New Actions To Be Implemented By The Startup After The Expertise. A Maximum Period Of 6 Months Of Support Is Planned, With A Preference For A Quarterly Logic. 3- Monitoring And Evaluation Reporting After The Diagnosis Phase, During And After The Support Phase With The Digital Africa Platform Team On The Relationship With The Supported Startups And Their Progress. Complete The Expertise Impact Form At The End Of The Support Mission For Each Startup. Details Of Expected Deliverables For Each Startup Supported, The Expert Undertakes To Follow The Procedure
