The Subject Of The Order Is To Catch Homeless And Unattended Dogs In A Professional And Humane Manner, Transport Them To A Shelter Along With Their Maintenance, And, In Necessary Cases, To A Veterinary Facility, In Accordance With The Regulation Of The Minister Of Internal Affairs And Administration Of August 26, 1998 On The Principles And Conditions For Catching Stray Animals (Journal Of Laws No. 116, Item 753), And Their Maintenance.1. As Part Of The Implementation Of The Subject Of The Order, The Contractor Will Be Obliged To: 1) Humanely Catch Homeless And Unattended Dogs From The Pisz Commune And Transport Them To The Shelter, After Receiving A Notification In Accordance With § 2 Of The Contract Template, Constituting Annex No. 7 To The Swz; 2) Maintaining Dogs Placed In The Shelter By Performing The Following Activities: A) Ensuring Good Quality Daily Food Appropriate To The Age, Health Condition And Needs Of The Animal, B) Ensuring Appropriate Living Conditions, Keeping The Pens Properly Clean, And, If Necessary, Disinfecting And Rodent Control Of Cages , Boxes And Runs For Animals In Accordance With The Adopted Procedure, Ensuring Protection Against Heat And Precipitation With Access To Daylight, C) Providing Separate Rooms For Pregnant Bitches And A Room For Aggressive Dogs, D) Providing Comprehensive Veterinary Care: Health Checks, Prevention, Treatment, Combating Internal And External Parasites, Vaccinations Against Rabies And Other Necessary Veterinary Treatments (According To The Principles Set Out In The Act Of August 21, 1997 On Animal Protection (Journal Of Laws . Of 2023, Item 1580, As Amended), E) Observing Newly Admitted Animals During The Quarantine Period; Keeping Accurate Records Of Dogs Staying In The Shelter, As Well As Preparing Information Regarding: A) Marking, Including The Dogs Registration Number And The Number Of The Implanted Chip, B) Description Of The Animal - Species, Age, Sex, Color, C) Stay Of The Animal In The Shelter - Date Of Admission And Leaving The Shelter, D) Death Of The Animal With A Reason, E) Photographic Documentation Of Animals Admitted To The Shelter. 4) Obligatory Sterilization Or Castration Of Dogs Admitted To The Shelter, Not Earlier Than 14 Days From Placing Them In A Shelter, With The Exception Of Animals In Which There Are Contraindications To Perform These Procedures Due To Health Condition Or Age - The Veterinarian Who Provides Medical Care At The Shelter Decides Whether The Procedure Is Necessary, And If Such A Necessity Is Found, He Also Performs This Procedure. In The Case Of Puppies, Castration May Be Performed After Reaching The Age Of Three Months, And Sterilization After Reaching The Age Of Six Months; 5) Marking Dogs In Accordance With Regulations And Standards In This Area By Implanting Electronic Identifiers (Chips); 6) Euthanizing Blind Litters And Terminally Ill Dogs – Whether Euthanasia Is Necessary Is Decided By The Veterinarian Who Provides Medical Care At The
