The previous assessment was produced by NIWA in 2018. The work will utilise recently released national climate model projections (utilising CMIP6) along with regionally specific information and other modelling methods. The assessment will provide information about numerous variables across multiple spatial and temporal criteria within the Southland Region. The work will also summarise the expected impacts of climate change of specific issue, sectors, or environments. Detailed supporting information will be provided to respondents. This includes: relevant information, if requiredDocuments detailing the list of variables, spatial and temporal resolution to be assessed Documents detailing specific issues and industries to be considered in assessment The Contract shall be for a period from 20 December 2024 to 20 June 2025.
