Open Date: 23/10/2024 09:23 CET Closing Date: 19/11/2024 13:00 CET Price Range: 200-500 KEURO This activity shall support the creation of academic courses on remote sensing and satellite Earth Observation (EO), including the development of teaching and learning materials at various levels (undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate). The aim is to increasethe knowledge and capacity in remote sensing, satellite EO and related technologies in Hungary among university students, graduates, young scientists and professionals. In addition, three teaching modules shall be developed, on 1) research methods - including scientific proposal-writing; 2) geostatistics; and 3) EO data processing. Overall, the topics shall include a wide range of EO techniques and applications, covering different areas, from the fundamental concepts of remote sensing through general Earth Science to operational applications. This effort shall contribute to an increased interest and expertise in the subject, initially in the academic environment in Hungary, and eventually also in the industrial capabilities in the country.
