Oslo Municipality V/ Utdanningsetaten, Hereinafter Referred To As The Client, Invites Tenders In Connection With The Acquisition Of A Service Concession For Canteen Operation At Elvebakken Vgs. Elvebakken Is Centrally Located In The Center Of Oslo And Has Approx. 1450 Pupils And 180 Employees. The Educational Programs The School Offers Are Specialised, Art, Design And Architecture, Media And Communication, Information Technology And Media Production And Electrical And Computer Technology. The School Has A Solid Student Base And A Great Deal Of Activity Linked To The School Canteen. The School Will Therefore Make Significant Fixed Purchases From The Canteen Throughout The School Year, And Will Guarantee A Given Turnover Per Year For Operations. The Canteen Was Upgraded In The Summer Of 2021 With A New Combi Steamer, Fast Food Cabinet And Associated Benches And Equipment. The School Wants An Independent Operator Of The Canteen From 01.01.2025. Independent Operation Means That Canteen Operators Are Financially Responsible For Purchasing, Production, Storage Of Goods And Sales. Operators Have Their Own Employees And Cover All Costs Associated With Them. Furthermore, Businesses Must Have Access To Extra Personnel In The Event Of Illness. The Schools Canteen Will Be Equipped For Production, Storage And Serving. Oslo Municipality Is Concerned That The Municipalitys Canteens Appear Sustainable. It Is Not Opened For Canteen Operation Only In The Form Of Vending Machines. The School Also Wants The Canteen To Organize A Meal For 100-200 Students On Wednesday Morning And Thursday Afternoon. The Offer Is Valid For 30-35 Weeks Of The School Year. Through The Contract, There May Be A Need For Changes In The Organization Of These Meals And Also Possibly Their Discontinuation. The School Canteen Is Equipped For The Production, Storage And Serving Of Hot And Cold Food. There Is An Increasing Proportion Of Vegetarians And Vegans At The School, And We Ask That The Offer For These Groups Be Described. An Inspection Is Held On Request.
