Quotation are invited for Composting Services-Food Facilities Project. We appreciate receiving your competitive offer by September 23rd, 2024 before 1:00 pm Lebanon Time. The company is required to abide by the below points when presenting their offer 1. Assessment of Waste Quantity and Quality: The contractor must conduct an initial assessment to estimate the quantity of organic waste generated by AUB cafeterias on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The assessment should consider seasonal variations, peak times, and any special events that may affect waste volumes. The contractor must evaluate the quality of the organic waste, identifying potential contaminants and providing recommendations for improving waste segregation to ensure that only compostable materials are collected. Regular reassessments should be conducted throughout the contract to adjust services as needed and to optimize waste collection and composting efficiency. 2. Provision of Bins: The contractor must supply appropriately sized, durable, and clearly labeled organic waste bins for all cafeteria locations. Bins should be designed to prevent odors and leaks and be easy to clean. Bins must be regularly cleaned and maintained by the contractor to ensure hygienic conditions.
