Expression of Interest are invited for Fiji Airport PPP Technical Consultant Fiji Airports wishes to consider modalities to engage the private sector to support the delivery of ambitious airside and landside development plans, recognising that private sector investment and capacity will play an important role in helping realise its vision to be the world class aviation hub for the Blue Pacific. As the aviation hub of the South Pacific, Nadis development and growth will help enhance air connectivity within Fiji and between the islands of the Pacific, supporting increased trade amongst the island countries and beyond. The 2024 Masterplan sets out a phased development approach in which key works are undertaken in a phased and sequenced manner, with the first stage of works targeting completion by 2028. The estimated capital requirements for the first stage of works is around US$250m. Fiji Airports has requested the assistance of IFC to assess Public Private Partnership (PPP) options that would enable it to partner with the private sector to help deliver the planned airside and landside developments. To support this work, IFC is engaging the services of an aviation consulting firm to work with its internal team. The Consultant will: - advise on the airside infrastructure delivery strategy report prepared by Fiji Airports - scope and assess potential PPP options and requirements to implement these - develop a preferred option to the level of Outline Business Case.
