The City Of Bad Münstereifel Suffered Massive Damage To The Urban Infrastructure During The Heavy Rain And Flood Disaster In July 2021. As Part Of The Emergency Aid, Some Damage Was Temporarily Repaired, But The Urban Area Still Requires Large-Scale Restoration Measures. As Part Of The Reconstruction, The City Of Bad Münstereifel Is Receiving Financial Resources From The Federal Government And The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia. In Particular, The Discharge Points Of The Wastewater Systems In The City Of Bad Münstereifel Were Damaged By The Heavy Rain And Flood Disaster - The Damage Was Covered Under The Measure M100 - Renewal / Renovation Of Discharge Points Recorded In The Reconstruction Plan Of The City Of Bad Münstereifel And Confirmed By The Funding Provider. The Owner Of The Area Is The City Of Bad Münstereifel Itself, Which Is Also Responsible For The Tendering And Implementation Of The Measures. In Total, The City Has 90 Discharge Points, Which Are Distributed Along The Waters Across The Entire City Area, Including The Associated Districts - Cf. The Two Kml Files Provided With The Service Description, Which Can Be Loaded And Displayed Barrier-Free In Google Earth.Current Statusthere Is Currently No Comprehensive Documentation Of The Damage Pattern At The Individual Discharge Points. Accordingly, The Extent Of The Flood-Related Damage Must Be Checked And Documented On Site. Planning Goal: Depending On The Structural Condition Determined, It Must Be Agreed With The Client Which Structural Measures Are Necessary To Renew Or Renovate The Discharge Points. If Repairs Have Already Been Carried Out After The Flood, It Must Be Assessed Whether These Meet The Requirement Of Sustainable Damage Repair Or Whether They Should Be Classified As An Interim Solution And Replaced By Further Renovation/Renewal Measures. The Aim Is The Sustainable Renewal Or Renovation Of The Inlet Damaged By The Flood -Positions.The Client Assumes That The Discharge Points In The Area Of The Water Connection Are Damaged And / Or Washed Out. Accordingly, It Would Be Necessary To Assess And Propose Which Measures Are Suitable For Sustainable Damage Repair (E.G. Repair/Renewal Of Pipe Ring, Repair/Replacement Of The End Of The Embankment, Restoration/Securing Of The Embankment/Water Bottom In The Discharge Area, Etc.).
