The Sewer System In Gouda Consists Of A Total Of Approximately 200 Kilometers Of Gravity Main Sewer, Of Which More Than 40% Is Piled. More Than 35 Kilometers Of The Gravity Sewer System Has Been Closed, Especially In The City Center And Korte Akkeren. There Are 13 Large Sewage Pumping Stations, Including Tuinstraat And Nieuwehaven Sewage Pumping Stations In The City Centre. In Older Neighborhoods And The City Center, The Mixed Sewerage System Is Regularly Located On Private Property (For Example Drainage Through The Backyards). Combined House Connection Pipes Are Also Common.
