For The Procurement Project, 20 Hospital Operators With 40 Hospitals And Around 8,500 Inpatient Beds Have Come Together To Enable The Participating Institutions To Set Up And Use A Patient Portal Efficiently In A Collaborative Approach. The Aim Of The Procurement Measures Is To Introduce A Centrally Operated, Multi-Client Capable And Interoperable Patient Portal For Digital Admission, Treatment, Discharge And Transfer Management For The Data Management Of The Hospital Operators And Innovative Applications As Well As Data Center Services For The Clients (Project “My Hospital Digital 24” (“Mkd24)). 2. Already At The Beginning Of 2023, Klinik-Kompetenz-Bayern Eg (Kkb) And, In Addition, The Bavarian Hospital Society E.V. (Bkg) Launched Two Europe-Wide Tenders In Lots For The Provision, Implementation And Operation Of An Interoperable Patient Portal Along With Services ( System Solution”) As Well As The Provision, Implementation And Operation Of It Infrastructure (“Data Center Services”) And The Corresponding Orders Awarded To Capable Contractors (“Mein-Krankenhaus-Bayern 23” (“Mkb23”) Project). As Part Of This Tender, 56 Hospital Operators With 111 Hospitals And Around 25,000 Inpatient Beds Came Together To Enable The Participating Institutions To Set Up And Use A Patient Portal Efficiently In A Collaborative Approach. The Project Is Now In The Implementation Phase, So That In The Future It Will Be Easier For Patients, Doctors And Nursing Staff To Communicate With Each Other And Exchange Digital Information Across Different Hospital Providers And Healthcare Sectors. The Main Objectives Are To Increase The Quality Of Patient Care As Well As Reduce Administrative Effort And Make It Easier To Use For Patients. 3. Due To The Synchronization Of The Objectives Of The Mkb23 Project Currently Being Implemented On The One Hand And The Upcoming Mkd24 Project On The Other Hand, The Aim Is To Create, At Best, An Interdisciplinary User Experience For Patients In The Sense Of A Uniform “Look And Feel”. 4. In Order To Implement The Mkd24 Project, In Addition To The Use Of Own Funds, The Use Of State Grants From The Directive For The Promotion Of Projects To Digitize The Processes And Structures During A Hospital Stay Of Patients In Accordance With Section 21 Paragraph 2 Khsfv In Version 4 Is Primarily Required As Of October 2, 2023 (Hereinafter Referred To As “Khzg Funding Guidelines”).
