The Core Task Of The Social Domain Program Of The Municipality Of Smallingerland Is To Ensure That Social Assistance Recipients Flow Into Work, Education, Entrepreneurship Or Another Active Form Of (Social) Participation. The Vision On The Social Domain, The Power Of Smallingerland, One Social Course, Describes The Way In Which We Translate Our Ambitions Into Four Social Results: Certain Existence, Doing Matter, Belonging And Feeling Good. We Focus More On Preventing Problems, Because This Is Better Than Cure. Residents Have A Good, Safe And Healthy Environment, In Which They Participate And Experience Security Of Existence Based On Good Health. Within The Participation Budget, An Amount Of €550,000 Is Available Annually For External Guidance. This Budget Will Be Used For The Purchased Plots, Where The Wishes And Needs Of Our Residents Come First.
