The Subject Of The Order Is The Renovation Of The Façade And The Execution Of Perimeter Drainage Of The Northern Tower From The 16Th Century, Located In The Complex Of Buildings On Castle Hill In Cieszyn. The Aim Of The Investment Is To Preserve The Material Heritage Related To The Rule Of The Polish Piast Dynasty Of Cieszyn, The Visible Symbol Of Which Was The Castle On Castle Hill, One Of The Preserved Buildings Of Which Is The Northern Bastion, And To Enable The Further Use Of The Bastion As A Place For Organizing Events Promoting The History And Heritage Of The Country And The Region. The Northern Bastion From The 16Th Century Is An Element Of The Former Piast Lower Castle On The Castle Hill (Wz) In Cieszyn. Two Defensive Bastions And The Building Of The Entrance Gate To The Castle Have Been Preserved From The Oldest 16Th/17Th Century Construction Phase. In 1840, The So-Called The Hunting Palace On The Fortifications Of The Lower Castle By Enclosing And Consolidating It In A Classicist Shape. The Area Lies Within The Historical Urban Layout Of The City Of Cieszyn, And The Castle And The Wz Have Been Entered Into The Register Of Monuments. The State Of Preservation Of The Bastion Is Varied. The Interior Of The Bastion Is In Good Condition (However, With Signs Of Moisture Penetrating Through The Walls), While The Façade Is In A Very Poor Condition. Large Stretches Of Plaster Have Fallen Off, Which Causes Moisture To Penetrate The Walls, And The Falling Plaster May Pose A Threat To Tourists. The Former Castle Complex Is, Among Others, The Seat Of A Local Government Cultural Institution Run As A Joint Cultural Institution Of Two Organizers, I.E. The City Of Cieszyn And The Silesian Voivodeship, Called Cieszyn Castle. The Institution Promotes Design And Promotes Regional Traditions. Traditional Craft Workshops Are Organized In The Castle. Exhibitions Are Held In The Castle Galleries And Cultural Events Are Also Held. The Interior Of The Bastion Is Mainly Used To Organize Small Exhibitions, Meetings, Presentations And Workshops For Children. The Subject Of The Order Concerns The Execution Of Construction Works Consisting In The Renovation Of The Facade Together With The Execution Of Perimeter Drainage Of The Building Of The Northern Tower Located On The Castle Hill In Cieszyn On Plot No. 15/12 And 15/3, Precinct 28. The Building Is Under Conservation Protection And Entered In The Register Of Monuments Under No. A -244/77. All Work Should Be Carried Out Under The Supervision Of A Representative Of The Provincial Conservator Of Monuments. The First Stage Of Works, Including The Assembly Of Scaffolding And The Removal Of All Existing Plasters, Should Be Carried Out Immediately After Handing Over The Construction Site. After Chipping Away The Plaster, The Conservation Committee Will Decide On Further Activities At The Monument, Related To Possible Architectural Research And Inventory Using The Laser Scanning Technique.
