Scenic Rim Regional Council (“Council” Or “Principal”) Is Seeking Tenders In Response To This Request For Tender (“Rft”). The Tenders Sought Are For The Construction Of A New Concrete Bridge On Hinchcliffe Drive Hinchcliffe Bridge As Well As Associated Civil Works. Works For This Bridge Have Been Approved For Funding Under The Bridges Renewal Programme (Brp) By The Australian Government And Are Jointly Funded With Scenic Rim Regional Council. The Proposed Bridge Is Being Constructed Off Alignment With The Existing Timber Bridge To Remain In Place As A Side Track For The Duration Of The Works. This Is The Only Access For The Adjacent Community. Pedestrian And Vehicle Access Will Need To Be Maintained At All Times.In Addition, The Existing Bridge Has Both Vital Water And Sewer Mains Attached To It. These Services Are Required To Remain In Operation At All Times. The Sewer Will Remain On The Existing Bridge And Planned To Be Operational Until It Is Rerouted At A Later Date. Care Must Be Taken To Ensure No Damage And Minimal Disruption Occurs. As Part Of This Tender, Water Main Works Are Included As Provisional (Optional) Items. These Are Described Below In The Scope Of Works.
