The Subject Of This Tender Are Four Exploratory Drillings Planned By The Nrw Geological Service In The Urban Areas Of Kempen, Krefeld, Viersen And Kaarst As Part Of The Geological Survey Of The State. The Exploratory Drillings Have The Following Objectives: - Exploring The Spatial Distribution, Thickness And Properties Of The Layers Deposited In The Quaternary , Especially The Warm-Age Eem And Holstein Layers In The Mapping Area. - Drilling Through The Quaternary Layer Sequence To Investigate The Lithological And Stratigraphic Conditions In The Upper Meters Of The Grafenberg Formation In The Footwall. If Within The Tertiary Grafenberg Formation Over A Drilling Distance Of Several Meters If Calcareous Layers Are Encountered As A Prerequisite For Successful Paleontological Investigations, The Drilling Will Be Stopped. The Drilling Should Be Carried Out As Core Drilling With Continuous Extraction Of Samples Up To A Maximum Depth Of 60 Meters.
