Providing Veterinary Care For Homeless Dogs Staying In Kennels At Ul. Rybacka 31 In Oława And Homeless Cats, Including Those After Accidents, And Electronic Marking (Chipping) Of Dogs. Scope Of The Order: 1. At Least Once Every 7 Days, A Personal Visit To The Pens In Order To Check The Health Condition Of The Animals Staying There, Or Each Time After Reporting By The People Taking Care Of The Pens;2. Examination Of Animals Newly Admitted To The Pens And Providing Them With The Necessary Medical And Veterinary Assistance;3. Deworming, Flea Removal And Vaccination Against Rabies Of Newly Admitted Dogs;4. Sterilizing Dogs Kept In Kennels When Sterilization Is The Only Condition For Adopting A Dog;5. Sterilization Of Stray Female Cats Located In The Pens (Approximately 10 Per Month);6. Access And Immediately Provide First Aid To Stray Animals That Have Suffered An Accident;7. Providing Transport Of Stray Animals Caught Upon Notification By The Uniformed Services And Providing Assistance (Sedation) During Interventions In The Case Of Dogs Behaving Aggressively;8. Euthanizing Animals With No Prospect Of Survival And Newborn Blind Litters;9. Maintaining Appropriate Documentation, Making Entries In The Record File About Medical And Veterinary Procedures And Activities Performed;10. Conducting Educational Activities Aimed At Adopting Homeless Animals And Helping In Their Maintenance And Care;11. Carrying Out Electronic Marking (Chipping) Of Dogs Staying In Kennels And Successively Dogs Registered In The Records Kept By The Municipal Office In Oława, By Implanting An Electronic Processor Under The Dogs Skin (Approximately 50 Pieces Per Year);12. Purchase Of Electronic Microchips With Unique Encoded Numbers And A Reader Enabling Their Quick Reading;13. Entering Data Of Chipped Dogs Into The International Safe-Animal Database, Associated With The European Pet.Network, Enabling Quick Finding Of Owners Of Lost Animals. According To Data From Previous Years, There Were On Average About 150 Dogs And About 150 Cats In The Kennels Each Year.
