Hamburg Energie Geothermie Gmbh Has Completed A Geothermal Doublet In 2022 At Wilhelmsburg, Hamburg Germany With The Intention To Produce Geothermal Heat. The Production Of The Well Has Been Tested In 2023 With Esp As Well A Recirculation Test (Injector Well) Was Carried Out The Production Well Was Equipped With Filter Screens At 1400 Meter Depth (Tvd) Within A Sandstone Layer Of 130 Meter Thickness And Successfully Tested. Due To The Sand Production From This Layer, A 90 m Sand Filter Has Been Installed At 1500-1700 M Md. With An Expected Bht Of 52 C And A Flowrate Of 140 M /H From The Production Well, An Electrical Submersible Pump (Esp) Is Required To Lift The Geothermal Fluid To Surface And To Supply The Pressure To Inject The Water Back In The Injection Well (Estimated 33 Bar@140 M /H) The Installation Of The Esp Is Planned At End Of 2024.
