It Maintenance Services For The Data Center Of Unibw M. The University Of The Federal Armed Forces Munich (Client) Was Founded In 1973 At The Initiative Of The Then Federal Minister Of Defense, Helmut Schmidt, Under The Name University Of The Federal Armed Forces Munich. It Is One Of Two Universities That The Bundeswehr Has To Train Its Officer Candidates And Young Officers. The University Is Part Of The Civil Organizational Division Human Resources And Is Assigned To The Federal Ministry Of Defence. The Client Operates A Data Center That Is Primarily Used For Communication, Data Processing And Data Storage Purposes. The Client Uses A Large Number Of Different Hardware Components In The Data Center. These Are Exclusively Those Of The Manufacturer Hewlett Packard Enterprise (Hpe). Some Of The Components Used Are Of A Newer Design, Some Are Older, So-Called Legacy Components. The Client Is Looking For A Contractor Who Will Take Over The Maintenance And Repair Of All Network Components And Associated Servers Of The Data Center. The Client Concludes A Contract With The Contractor With A Term Of Three Years.
