81295331-Assistance In The Cross-Border Management Of The Bsb Yamoussa National Park Complex (Output 1) And Formalization Of The Micro-Zonings In The Periphery (Output 4). The Sustainable Development Of The Environment Of The Cross-Border National Park Complex Bsb Yamoussa In Cameroon And Chad Is Supported By The Project Support Of The Cross-Border National Park Bsb Yamoussa On Behalf Of The German Ministry For Economic Cooperation And Development By The German Society For International Cooperation. The Political Executing Agency Is The Central African Forest Commission (Comifac). The Aim Of The Project Is To Promote The Local Development Of The Periphery And The Operationalization Of The Binational Agreement Of The Protected Area Complex Bsb Yamoussa To Protect The National Parks Bouba Ndjida And Sena Oura. The Module Works With The Organized Local Population In The Outskirts Of The Parks As A Target Group. Intermediaries Are Experts And Managers (I) From The Executive Secretariat Of Comifac, (Ii) From The Park Administrations And Ministries, (Iii) From Local Radio Stations, From Primary School Teachers. The Goal Is To Be Achieved By (I) Supporting Selected Elements Of The Binational Agreement, (Ii) Implementing Park Management Plans For The Periphery, (Iii) Promoting Environmental Education Measures And (Iv) Microzoning Of The Park Environment. The Project Works Closely With The Kfw Project Of The Same Name, Which Aims To Promote The National Parks Themselves And Not The Periphery. The Effects Of The Project Should Be Measured By The Fact That No New Agricultural Land Is Created In The National Parks, The Target Group Organizations Support A Code Of Conduct For Compliance With Behavior In Accordance With Protected Areas, Parts Of The Neighboring Population Can Achieve An Additional Sustainable Income And The Environmental Education Has A Positive Effect On The Attitude Of The Pupils* Inside Opposite The Parks. The Project, Which Is Based On Previous Modules, Has A Term Of 3 Years (11/2022 10/2025) And Works At The Two Locations Garoua (Cameroon) And Pala (Chad). As Part Of The Tc Module Support For The Cross-Border Bsb Yamoussa National Park In Cameroon And Chad, Four Work Packages Have Been Announced That Contribute To The Achievement Of The Projects Objectives.
