King George County Fiber- Phase II Project King George County, Virginia, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia and a body politic, (County), desires to engage the services of a qualified firm, or firms, to provide the installation of an Outside Plant Fiber Optic Cabling Interconnect between the Fire Rescue & Emergency Services (from now on referred to as FRES) Fire Station Company 1 to Fairview Beach Fire Station Company 2 and to Dahlgren Fire Station Company 3 Demark, and the inclusion of the Service Authority Waste Water Treatment Plants (from now on referred to as WWTP) at Dahlgren, Fairview Beach and Hopyard Farms, as described herein and further detailed below under Scope of Work. King George intends to enter into a contract with the selected Offeror(s) using its Standard Form of Agreement for Services. A sample Standard Form of Agreement for Services is attached to this RFP as Attachment A This Request for Proposal (RFP) is part of a competitive procurement process that allows King George County to obtain the best value and also provides interested Offerors a fair opportunity for their services and capabilities to be duly considered. Price is not the only factor in determining an award. This procurement is being conducted by King George County. Additional installations, as detailed in this RFP, may be considered, in whole or in part, by King George.
