This is an expression of interest to see if there are any providers interested in a contract that is soon to be put out to market in the very near future If you feel you are you interested or would be able to successfully provide the service please express an interest Stockport Council are seeking to appoint doormen security guards to provide an ad hoc service at Stockport Town Hall Bramall Hall and ancillary venues to cover and oversee various events as required The events will include weddings elections corporate dinners awards evenings prom nights sporting events and Council meeting with the potential for other requirements as needed to be discussed Events can potentially on occasion be 24 hours a day but are generally between the hours of 8am 7 days a week and can continue until 3am the following day All staff must have a dedicated uniform and ID badges Staff must have a good understanding of the English language to the level where they are able to communicate with members of the public Council Officers Councillors and MP s All staff must present themselves in a professional manner promoting good customer service ensuring the Council is seen in a positive light It is a requirement that all doormen security guards have an SIA badge and at least 1 be a qualified first aider where more than one doorman security guard is required A delegated named chain of command must be provided ahead of each event in case of any issues arising for conflict resolution
